Congratulations to Felipe Lopez, our February Rock Star of the Month. We surprised him at a meeting with his award the other day and are so happy to see him win the honor this month.

Felipe joined our team in November 2010 and is one of those wonderful individuals who maintains a fabulous can-do attitude all the time!

Yesterday, things were really hopping around here.

We spent the morning filming a new commercial. Having decided against hiring professional models, we asked (okay -  begged, pleaded and whined until they gave in) several staff members to participate.

They did a smashing job! Absolutely smashing!

Friday, the Washington State Wine Commission announced the recipients of the 2011 Washington Wine Restaurant Awards. The ninth annual awards ceremony was held at the Washington Athletic Club where 50 Washington State Wineries, media and fellow industry members were in attendance.

Our owners, Kyle and Brenda Mussman, attended along with our new Exec Chef Antonio Campolio and we were thrilled to learn we received one of the 2011 Washington Wine Grand Awards. This award honors industry leaders in their support of the Washington Wine industry.

We took some new food photos last night to use in future marketing pieces and we can't decide what we like best.
